Pray for several transitions of ministries from long time leaders. Pray for provision of the next generation, pray for wisdom on how to lead those transitions. Pray also for those slowing down and retiring to find their next calling with their new circumstances. God can and will still use them or they wouldn’t still be around. Help them to have the courage and patience to see what He shows.

Dear Jesus, you tell us that our elders are blesed with much wisdom. We pray for your favor over this generation that is retiring. May they disciple and entrust future generations to you. May their lives be full of abundance and a special ministry as only they can. So many nations revere age and will listen from respect and honor. We pray that would be a foothold for souls to hear the Gospel and have a chance to know you. May they also be blessed with rest from their labor and love and support from those they have raised up in these new seasons of life.
