Pray for more ISI/ISM staff to come to UMBC to help with the international student ministry. Pray for the Holy Spirit to move mightily across the campus and local churches to draw students and volunteers to walk with him and be a blessing. Ask the Lord to direct devoted Christian students to join our club and reach out to nonbelievers around them. Thank you!

• Pray for incoming students this fall semester to have softened hearts to hear about Jesus and receive his love. • Please pray for one of our students, *Claire, and her family. Her home country of Bangladesh erupted in violence (stemming from the political party in control of the government) that resulted in shutdowns, chaos, and many deaths. Praise God that she made back to the States, but her father in still there and in danger as a member of the opposition party. Please pray for peace for this nation and the Lord’s word to go forth and bring change.

Prayer request from Randy & Jan Babcock - ISI Staff CSU Fort Collins: Our STUFF Giveaway is this Saturday, August 17th. Please pray for the giveaway to draw many students. That students we meet will be open and ready for follow-up and deep relationships with our team.

Pray that we can see new students and ones we already have relationships with desire to study the Bible.

Pray that we would see significant spiritual breakthroughs with the Persian students and scholars at KU MED.

Pray for ISI KC a has we make a transition over the next several months to Sandeep Thomas taking on he position of City Director, and Carol focuses primarily on student and scholar relationships.

Pray for ISI KC that we will have more than enough volunteers to help with our Home Goods Giveaway for both the 2 1/2 days of setup and during the Giveaway itself.

Pray that a contagious love for our Life-Giver would grow in me and in each member of my family.

Pray for the Spirit to guide me as I wrestle to outline how to guide students locally and globally in understanding and articulating the Good News in a contagious way. Pray that we can format it to be effective online and via text or audio.

For my friend Rui, from when we ministered at UMD, to come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. For Christian friends and witness as she transitions for a PhD program at U of Mississippi, where there is no ISI staff (or ISM work that I'm aware of).

Pray for two churches that are key to our mission and are making difficult decisions impacting their futures here as well as mine.

Pray for Anders who is weighing whether the Lord is leading him to cross-cultural missions or church planting. Pray that his thinking would include international students, and that they are drawn to him and to the Lord through him this year.
