Prayer Requests and Prayer Points
Here are prayer requests and prayer prompts to help you with your prayer. You may want to bookmark this page so when you do pray, you can reach it easily. Also, please share ISM related prayer requests by clicking “add prayer request.” All prayers are screened by the prayer team so it won’t show immediately but hopefully it will show less than a couple of hours after your submission. Also, let people know you are praying for them by clicking on the “Pray” button. Thanks all!
When Israel journeyed to Jerusalem for their yearly holy gatherings they sang and prayed the Psalms of Ascent. Let us be praying the following Psalm leading up to our gathering of ISI at our National Conference. -- When Brothers Dwell in Unity -- A Song of Ascents. Of David. Psalm 133 Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil (the Holy Spirit is sometimes pictured as oil) on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.
Tim | 3 years | Prayed 23 time(s)Pray for God's help and strength as we seek to launch the 2022 fall semester of ministry with one of the strongest prayer efforts we have ever had in ISI. Begin with a Nationwide Week of 24/7 Prayer for the fall semester July 31st -August 7th. Following the Week of 24/7 Prayer we will start our local teams having 40 Days of Prayer for the Fall Semester beginning August 8th and ending September 16th. Each local ministry will also Prayer Walk their campus at least once leading up to the Fall Semester. Prayer is often the key to breakthrough in ministry. May God powerfully enable our ISI Teams across the nation to grow in prayer. Lord help us to become, "A House of Prayer for All the Nations, Isaiah 56:7."
Tim | 3 years | Prayed 25 time(s)Prayer requests for ISI NC22 from Seng Tan ISI President: 1. Less a request than to inform everyone, the Home Office is praying for, by name, EVERY single registrant for NC! Home Office staff have been praying over a few persons and their families every day and will complete the list before NC. 2. For journey mercies, for none of the flights of those flying to be cancelled at the last minute, for safe and sound travel for those driving, etc. 3. For good health for everyone, but especially for Kyle Cox and the conference organizing team. Pray no one gets hurt before, during, and after the NC. 4. For the Presence of the Lord to permeate and pervade the NC, for unity in the Spirit as God’s people worship. That we will be seized by the Spirit and hear and obey what He is telling us today. May God have His way with us all, may His Name be honored and glorified! 5. For the grace of God to grease all we do, think, and say—toward each other and toward the hotel staff and guests, such that we leave the hotel and Orlando a better place than they were before we arrived.
Tim | 3 years | Prayed 25 time(s)Pray for the Lord's provision of the right ISI staff members to be part of the exhibitor team at the Urbana 22 Missions Conference in Indianapolis, IN, Dec. 28-31. Pray this team will be used of God to bring new laborers into ISI. Lord of the Harvest send and bring forth a new generation of Laborers into ISI for your glory and honor among the nations.

Tim | 3 years | Prayed 24 time(s)Pray for key volunteer Laura in Cape Girardeau, MO. She,and her two sons with five others were in a horrible traffic accident in Arkansas involving their church van and another vehicle which did not stop because a stop sign was stolen.. The pastor in the group needed surgery on his diaphragm and one them broke their neck but can move everything but one leg. Others had lacerations and other injuries. Praise God that they are all alive. Pray for healing and God's grace in all of this. May He show his presence and healing in this time.
Roy | 3 years | Prayed 25 time(s)Pray for ISI staff member Norm. Early last week he found himself in the hospital with a very low heart rate. After several days of test and observations the doctors decided that he immediately needed surgery to put in a pacemaker. The initial surgery went well but one wire came loose and they had to go in again. After that surgery, he was able to go home on Sunday. In fact he was leading worship at the Arabic church that very day. His heart is now beating consistently and he is doing well. He asks for prayer that his words as he goes through this have an impact on those listening. Pray for his recovery and patience as he heals from this surgery. Pray that the pacemaker doesn't move around in the process because of his moving around.
Roy | 3 years | Prayed 24 time(s)Praise God, He is already answering our prayers. Last night during our Zoom prayer time we prayed for the approval of R1 Visas and today I got the following email from Amarildo from Brazil who just finished ISI new staff orientation. -- Friends, I had an interview this afternoon with the federal officer who is taking care of my R-1/R-2 visa petition. --(R2 is Visa for Amarildo's wife Laura) -- I answered all his questions, and he was very appreciative. He indicated that he would be preparing a final report soon. I know that God is at work already in this process just for the fact that it is moving forward earlier than we anticipated. But I want to ask your prayers that God would soften officer J's heart and he will approve my process. I know that what is impossible for man is possible with God, and if He is willing, this will go through. Would you pray for me and my family? Together in Christ's Service, Amarildo.
Tim | 3 years | Prayed 20 time(s)Please join us in praying that the whole Week of 24/7 Prayer will be filled and that each hour long time slot will be covered by our team in prayer. Father,, we you ask you to help us lift our prayers to you night and day, day and night. That we will be your Watchman on the Walls. -- Isaiah. 62:6-7 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest, and give Him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.
Tim | 3 years | Prayed 19 time(s)From Tim Sigman:--- My wife and I are arriving early June 23rd for the National Conference to prayer walk our meeting location. If anyone else is arriving early and would like to join us for prayer walking please send me an email at [email protected]. Please pray the Lord will give us insight and wisdom to know how to pray on location. Please pray for protection from the enemy as we are already experiencing some spiritual warfare. We are daily asking God to cover us in His full armor. Pray this over the whole team who are working on and preparing for the conference.
Tim | 3 years | Prayed 15 time(s)The email prayer request below is from Joe Sabounji, retired ISI staff in his 90s. He built a strong ISI ministry in Boston through Park Street Church.--- Dear 24/7 Prayer Coordinator: Thank you for keeping me informed and updated via e-mails for praise & prayer. Sorry that I am unable to join your praying team but I do intercede His throne for you all. I am having some challenging health issues that are causing me not to get involved in live prayer. Due to medications, I am frequently falling asleep and my mind does not function properly. Thank you for praying and interceding before His Throne for my weakening case. Our Almighty God is good at all times and His Grace is enough for all challenges. May you all be blessed by Him. With love in & for Christ alone, His servant, Joe Sabounji
Tim | 3 years | Prayed 22 time(s)Pray that God would work in the hearts of all attending NC 2022. Asking the Lord to humble us and remind us of how big and powerful and loving He is. That He would help each of us wait on Him with increased faith that He can do seemingly impossible things as we walk into the ‘22-‘23 school year! “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:28-31
Mollie | 3 years | Prayed 20 time(s)Please pray Isaiah 54:2-4 for the state of Texas. Pray through the vision God has given us to see churches and campus ministries mobilized toward ongoing disciple making movements on every college and university in Texas, Oklahoma and southern Arkansas. Pray for God to open doors in every place He sends us. Ask God to raise up laborers for His Kingdom to love and care for and make disciples on every campus in this area among international students. Lord Jesus, send more laborers into the harvest fields, campuses, for your glory and purpose.
Ron | 3 years | Prayed 17 time(s)Pray for ISI team member Sarah H and her husband Evan as they enter their last month of waiting to adopt the precious baby they are currently fostering. Her name is Baby S. The court hearing to finalize adoption is July 11. Pray for God to make the path straight and for His will to be done
Ron | 3 years | Prayed 21 time(s)Pray for the three worship teams preparing to lead the times of worship and extended prayer at the National Conference. This year the lead worshipers are fellow staff members and volunteers. They are spread out over many states and need the Lord's help as they come together to practice for the first time at the conference. Father, we ask you to come fill the praises of your people and draw us to yourself in holy awe and worship. May you receive great honor and glory as we gather to seek your face! May Jesus be lifted up in our midst and may the Holy Spirit come fill us afresh as we draw near.
