Praise & prayer for Caleb Lain as he takes on the leadership of our local ISI Lakeland ministry - vision, wisdom, peace & joy. Keep on praying for full-time staff as Caleb will be doing it part-time. Pray for more volunteers & local churches to get involved. Pray for returning students & new students to come with open hearts prepared by the Holy Spirit to receive & believe the Gospel. Prayer for our IWC group as it starts a new year - fresh ideas & new women.

Request from Ed Germann SE/GL RFD: My real title is not Regional Field Director but Regional Field Servant and I LOVE that title. The Lord wants His wonderful servants (in all of ISI) to be served. As Jesus did not come to be served but to be served. Pray I do not grow weary in well-doing. These Servants of the Lord serve international students day and night, night and day. They need someone to do for them what they do for others. I want to be that person. “Here am I, Lord, send me."

Travel home (gulp) 9/11. Pray for REAL unity of the Spirit, Seng’s leadership and wisdom as he hears different ideas and opinions. What is decided affects all of ISI. How it is decided, speaking to one another in love and patience and seeking only The Lord’s Will, is very important.

Request from Ed Germann ISI SEGL RFD: Pray for Jesus Christ to show up in His Spirit at the retreat. We are all prepared to worship Him. We need His blessing upon us as we leave the summer harbor and have already ventured out into the open sea of international student ministry. Our retreat is focused on worshiping Jesus, loving on one another, getting to know one another on a deeper level, and to be, via the Spirit of God, renewed refreshed, revived, reinvigorated, and any other positive thing!

Prayer request from the Germann Man (SE/GL Regional Director): 1. Regional Retreat Sept 29 – Oct 2, 2025 in Black Mountain, NC. Last year, days before our retreat was to start, Hurricane Helene destroyed the Retreat Center. I was looking for a new retreat center I was told  that this same facility would be ready for us at the end of September. ISIers love going there. So please pray that they have it ready-ready in the next two months. They are partially ready. We NEED to have this retreat.
