Personal Prayer Request - Please pray for my dad as he recovers from a heart procedure that the Lord will heal his heart completely and will strengthen his muscles to have a full recovery. Please pray also for my mom and my sister as they joyfully take care for him. Thank you Lord for all your provisions along the way through the cardiologist, the physical therapist and the nutritionist. So grateful for how you have been using this time to strengthen our relationship as a family and with you even more. Thank you for the amazing way you have been bringing my dad closer to you every day
Please keep providing time for me to connect with my family at the distance and to be with them every day, even if it is a small amount of time I pray that you will use it meaningfully to feel united with each other. Thank you Lord for who you are, for the special and unique way you love us and and for the amazing ways you always provide! - I pray in the name of your beloved son, Jesus Christ, Amén!Pray for God’s leading and direction for our director as she is trying to decide how to start a Discovery Bible Study about Jesus. This could possibly be through a regular home group time or a separate avenue entirely. Lift up our international believing students and staff who attended the World Changers Conference from Dec 28th-Jan 2nd. May they put into action what they learned, so that they can grow the kingdom and be a light for Jesus. Ask God to provide abundantly as home gorups are beginning again. Pray for volunteers to welcome the internationals as their own and love them as themselves—always remembering the Lord as God in everything that they do (Leviticus 1:34).
Pray for the team who is meeting and asking God to show us what is next for the THRIVE women's ministry. In the past we have offered seminars for international women and for ISI women. We need God's direction about what He desires from us during this season. We need creativity and insight so that our efforts will be need-driven rather than program-driven.
Praise God for bringing great new volunteers to ISI, KC. Pray for his blessing and provision over them as they are trained and continue praying for more volunteers with passion and commitment. Praise God for how our director Carol has poured into this ministry and continues to do so faithfully. Ask God to lead someone to her who she can disciple and prepare to pass on this role in the next few years—and for provision and rest in the waiting. Praise God for Journey to Judea and all the ISI Christmas parties. Pray for hearts to continue to be stirred in the following months and years and for opportunities in follow up conversations. May volunteers and staff never cease to honor Christ the Lord as holy—and always be prepared to give a defense for the hope in us with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15).

Roy Yabuki - RMP Regional Director - 1. Praise for abundance of potential new staff in Wichita and new staff in Colorado and New Mexico. 2. New young staff at Golden, Colorado - no one there yet Need to find new staff in several cities including Cape Girardeau, Fayetteville, Kansas City, St. Louis so that the ministry can be passed on to the next generation. 3. Prayer for Improvement of the emotional health of the team - building a culture of ministering out of abiding rather than focus on doing. 4. Wisdom in navigating long time staff through the later years of ministry. 5. Prayer movement sparking in several location in Colorado, especially in CU Boulder 6. Need for media specialists all over the country
Roy Yabuki - RMP Regional Director - 1. New ministries to begin in SE Houston, Kingsville, San Marcos, Corpus Christi, and all across Texas through the Saturate Texas initiative. 2. New staff to be recruited for Austin and College Station. 3. Tejas Spring Retreat coming March 8-10 - need to raise funds so most of the cost can be subsidized. New format. 4. New students arriving and Big Howdy Welcome parties this weekend. 5. Equip - April 15-19 - Preparation for training of new staff for ISI 6. For the 21 regular home groups throughout Texas and eternal fruit to come from much labor by staff and volunteers.
My eyes (I had eye surgery and I still cannot see, either for healing or for further procedures so I can see again) I struggle with a gastroparesis since I am a child (for complete healing!) Julia from Germany that she will accept Jesus Silvia needs a greencard and her whole family (otherwise they have to leave the States. Her father is very sick, and she can't go and visit him due to the visa)
Pray for the work at Niagara University, that the Lord would bring out students new and old to our welcome dinner January 21. Pray for husband and wife Chinese professors to continue to come to the Bible studies, and that the Spirit would open their hearts to receive the Lord. Pray for A, N, S, all Muslim students, that their hearts would be softened to hear the gospel message.
