Prayer Requests and Prayer Points

Here are prayer requests and prayer prompts to help you with your prayer. You may want to bookmark this page so when you do pray, you can reach it easily. Also, please share ISM related prayer requests by clicking “add prayer request.” All prayers are screened by the prayer team so it won’t show immediately but hopefully it will show less than a couple of hours after your submission. Also, let people know you are praying for them by clicking on the “Pray” button. Thanks all!

  • Ed Germann - SE-GL RFD: Prayers of Thanksgiving and Praise be given to our God! We have been so HONORED to be called to such a ministry as ISI. There are day workers in manual labor jobs who line up at a certain place at a certain time hoping to get picked/chosen to get to work that day. Not everyone is chosen. The Master has picked us to go and work in His Fields! HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!
  • Ed Germann - SE-GL RFD: Upcoming Directors Meetings led by Seng. Special prayer focus on and for Seng. He hears a lot of voices; a lot of persuasive (and not so persuasive) speeches that are in disagreement with the last speech from someone else. Seng is our leader. It is, ultimately, always “Seng’s Call.”

Dear Jesus, we ask for special favor and protection over Seng as ISI’s leader. Grant him wisdom and discernment to hear your voice above all others. May his team be united in values that follow your heart, have humility to learn from one another, and strength to pray together and intercede for one another. Cast down any attacks of the enemy that would stir up divison and strife. Let Seng and his team be known by their love for you and one another.

  • Ed Germann - SE-GL RDF: Pray for all our staff team that we all take a huge breath and “get back in there” for a new semester with the energy we need to fight against the spiritual forces of darkness and to bring LIGHT, THE LIGHT, into that darkness.

  • I've had several opportunities to share the gospel, have spiritual conversations and pray with Isabelle. It seems the Holy Spirit is at work. Pray for a breakthrough for her this week in what I prayed with her about yesterday and that God would reveal His truth and goodness to her in a way that leads to salvation.

  • I pray that You would stir the hearts & minds of Your people in Lakeland to have a passion for the international students at FL Poly & other colleges here. Call them to this work, give them vision & conviction & a willingness to make sharing the Gospel with our students a priority. Help Caleb as he presents the work and recruits new volunteers. And for a FULLTIME staff person or "illuminary".
