I've been praying that the Lord would bring an opening to meet internationals at their Orientation at the University of Denver. I emailed the new Director and she said they cannot open it up this year, but is willing to let me know if they decide later to have a Resource Fair. Pray for more opening on this rather hostile campus.
Please pray for our Warm Welcome on August 12th at Arizona State. We anticipate several hundred new international students and a few dozen volunteers. Pray for logistics and for connections to be made between the students, volunteers, and various ISM groups involved. Praise that the university is paying for all of the food.
Please pray for Bob and I as we host an international student in our home for the first time starting this week for 1 calendar year. We know her well and are excited to have this opportunity to host this new believer. Our hearts desire is for wisdom and growth in us on how to seize the time and invest in her spiritual growth and for Lorna that this year would be transformational for her.
Pray for Jesus to meet us in our 40 Day Prayer Focus, that He would teach us to pray. Pray for every incoming Int'l student to know about the Garage Giveaway(Aug. 27). . .that many would come and experience the love of Christ. Pray for no rain and cooler temperatures on the 27th. Pray for access to students through surveys from the GGA. Pray for our M28 discussions starting on Sept. 9th. . .that God's Word would draw people to Himself.
Can you pray for me I graduated in May and I was interviewed in June 27th for a job by the university( Southeast Missouri State University)where I got my bachelor degree recently ,everything went well but I am still waiting for their call to le me know when I will Start working. It's my OPT job,please pray for me.
Please pray for my brother who is currently in a sensitive country and has encountered some attempts at intimidation and threats against him. He is doing humanitarian work. Please pray for protection, for deliverance. He is due to leave this country on Sunday...pray for his safe return. Thanks so much! For those on prayer duty at 1:30 a.m. Eastern time tonight, please keep him in prayer as that is an "ultimatum" deadline given to him and his organization.
