1. Deeper intimacy with God and sacred companions in my spiritual journey. 2. Wisdom to know students and to be known by them well. 3. Growth in taking the lead for COM Philly team and the fellowship for Temple University. 4. The physical and spiritual well-being of my family in China. 5. The smooth process of my green card application so that there will be no gap for my visa transition.

Pray for my husband Bill total recovery of terrible throat ulcer induced by COVID. Pray for Christian and seeker students will be eager to join fellowship this semester. Pray also for support development , time management, rebuild different network. I am grateful that some of my student friends join ISI World changer conference and Urbana and were very encouraged. Praise Him.

Praise God for all the opportunities we have to reach the nations living among us. Pray for us to be obedient to His call for holiness and that God guides and directs all of our efforts through the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray for unity among our teams, that we can exemplify the love of Christ as we serve Him together. Pray for God to bless our efforts to make multiplying disciples to further His Kingdom.

Matthew 9:36-38 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”.... Father we pray to you the Lord of the harvest to send us more workers and that You will allow and enable us to see a great harvest from every tongue and tribe and nation in 2023.

Pray for all the seeds that have been sown over at Arizona State University during our big Warm Welcome last week and our Launch Party last night. Pray for the seed to be watered and for fruit as we have invited the new international students to connect with volunteers from the local churches. Pray to as we begin weekly Bible discussion groups... that students would be discipled in faith through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Is. 55:8-11 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. "Father we declare that your Word would be unleashed on every campus across this nation. That your Word would run with power and would not return empty but would accomplish that which you desire. We declare this in Jesus mighty name for His glory!"

Pray for "paradigm shifting" events this semester like special retreats, trips, Tejas, TRUE leadership, etc. where students take major jumps in their journey to Christ. Pray that God will bless those events both in implementation but more so by revealing his presence to students to take large steps closer to Him. Pray that they can see big hearts, unity and answered prayers during these times.

Pray for our upcoming women’s meeting on zoom on the topic of love languages February 8. Pray for Beth, who is our speaker. Pray that this will generate conversations about how God loves us perfectly and in all of the areas that we need. Pray for excellent discussions.

Pray for us as we kick off the new semester with a lunar new year party. Pray that we will find students who want to join our community and follow up with Bible discussions. Pray for teammates, who are ill, that they would be healed in Jesus name. Pray for stamina for the semester.

Pray for A, who came to Christ this fall and has been baptized. Pray as he is worried about sharing his fair with others in bondage to another faith. Pray for the restoration of his marriage. Pray for his wife to connect with ISM workers. Pray for financial provision.

Pray for ISM workers under attack in their marriages and families. Pray against spiritual attacks as they seek to move forward, but are struggling privately. Pray for godly counseling, and the courage to reach out for help. Pray for wisdom and balancing schedules. Pray for wisdom in balancing the needs of families and spouses with the needs of international students. Restore hope in situations where workers feel hopeless. Praise God for the healthy marriages that are there and how that is a testimony to students. Praise God for the families who are being used of the Lord to model what healthy families look like. Strengthen weary warriors.

Prayer for Kimberly Daniel as she works together with several students to start an International Student Club at UCCS (University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Pray many international students will be drawn to this new club at the campus club fair on Jan. 25th and that many students will become active members of the club this semester.

Pray for the families of former staff members Carl Shirk and Gene Congdon as they process the loss of them. Pray for wisdom on how to help the Body be the Body with them.

Pay for the directors of the various ISM groups. Pray for a real sense of partnership but also healthy vision for the individual ministries. Pray for wisdom on what expansion looks like, which partnerships make sense, the balance of team health and aggressive ministry development, stewardship and extravagance in doing ministry. Provide for each of these ministries. Pray for humble leaders in each of these. Pray for Paula Parker, Rich Mendola, Seng Tan, James Paternoster, Marc Papai, Trae Vascek, etc. (I'm forgetting a lot of others and even some friends at this hour... forgive me). Guide them Father to know your heart, do what you want us to do and position us to REALLY be strategic for the kingdom as is the promise of ISM.
