  • Please pray for divine appointments as we are on campus for NSO for international students at UPenn August 19-21. Pray that several of our returning students will join us in meeting new students.
  • For my meeting with an Afghan friend tomorrow and God's wisdom and leading for asking her to read me John 1 in her language, and openness in her to discover who Jesus really is.

The meeting went well. Pray for openness for her and family and for navigating a new testament in a script language with no English and matching it with my English one. Pray for God’s input from other sources like dreams and visions.

  • Please pray for our city wide retreat August 16-18 as we focus on getting to know new teammates and building trust and unity on our NYC Team. Please also pray for our family (Caspers) as we start a new Brooklyn focused ministry including a weekly home group. We also have two churches that are interested in being mobilized not far from our home in a neighborhood where many international students live. Pray for many more laborers for the harvest. Pray for our city team that is going to be launching sub-teams for different areas of the city (upper Manhattan & Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn).
  • Pray for R & S, Sikhs from India. That God would reveal Himself to them and they would read the Punjabi bible given to them and come to know and worship Jesus.
  • Pray for M and H. Pray that God would break through their secular way of thinking and astound them with the wonder of who He is. Pray that God would bring them from darkness to light. Pray that they would have significant influence in the Kingdom of God, especially in their home country where there is an Islamic regime.

Pray for the right kind and amount of items, including an abundance of bicycles. Pray for enough volunteers. Pray that students come. Pray for lasting relational connections that would lead to the revival of those students who know Him and salvation for those who don't. Pray for good weather.
  • • Praises: Praise Jesus for faithful volunteers serving at the various ISF Home Groups. Ask the Spirit to continue helping grow relationships and providing opportunities for natural conversations about him. • Praise God that one of our local churches is planning to host a women’s event focused on international outreach. Intercede for the leaders and speakers to honor God trough their testimonies. May Spirit touch many lives and raise up women passionate for the nations. • Praise the Lord that Sandeep has successfully completed his master’s program in Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Pray that we will demonstrate committed love to our students. Pray that we would demonstrate that love through committed prayer, time shared with students, and working to see needs met. May we remember that living in a strange culture is arduous work. Let us encourage students with our care and share the Jesus who taught us to care.

Our main Strategy is the place new staff into Healthy Teams we call HTTVs(Healthy Team Training Venues) currently we have five locations and hope to expand to ten. 2. We are also giving much focus to recruiting and training Volunteers. We began with about 300 volunteers and are seeking to develop 300 more. In this category we are trying to improve our connections with 1080 alumni scattered around the globe. Thank you for praying for the Navigators!
  • Lord, We praise You and thank You for who You are!! You are such a great and mighty God and You are always on Your throne! We praise for the way You are working all over the world and in ISI right now! We praise You for Your Sovereign Grace in all of our lives - all of the staff and students that You have called by Your Name to follow You, to live for You! Hear our prayers as we come to You - totally dependent on You to work in every aspect of this ministry, in every place that You have called us! Pour out Your Spirit on us as we seek to follow You with all our hearts and on our volunteers and on our students that they may come to know You and walk faithfully with you! We pray all this for the Glory of Your Great Name! We pray in the Name of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, amen!
