For a student led house of prayer for all nations at NYU which we are feeling led to start this semester!

Brian at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Please pray for volunteer orientation of about 6 new volunteers, international graduate and undergraduate orientation, and city campus and east campus club fairs. These events have replaced Big Red Welcome for most international students and are our primary means of meeting new students directly each semester. We are expecting over 500 new international students this fall.

Pray for ISI Lincoln - Brian and Beth are both recovering from confirmed cases of COVID. Their ministry is launching 40 days of prayer and daily prayer walks next week. Pray that God would not allow these activities to be stopped.

Pray for the first ever Big Howdy welcome party for new international students at Lamar University on Aug 24th! Praise the Lord for the 10 local churches and 5 campus ministries He’s drawn in to be a part of this welcome party. May the Lord establish last relationships between believers and international students through this event! And may students experience the love of Christ in a tangible way! Pray for smoothness of logistics and for me as I lead out!

Pray that the ISI staff who attend the ASU opportunity today (8/16) for meeting new students will meet those in whom God is drawing for redemptive purposes.

• Pray for steadfast support, comfort, and wisdom for our director and her family with her sister’s ongoing struggles with dementia. • Ask the Lord to fill one of our leaders with the Holy Spirit when he has the opportunity to speak at his Marriage and Family Therapy’s Commissioning Service for graduation. Pray also for God’s leading as he navigates this new mission field alongside international ministry and for spiritual protecion for him and his family.

Thanks for praying for ISI at Univ. California Santa Cruz. We have a small but elite ministry. Our ISI annual planning meeting is this Sunday Aug 18. Pray for Holy Spirit drawing our volunteers and Christian Int'l students, guiding eah of us in teamwrk for how to connect with new In'tl at UCSC,especially the Christians, what activities our team can offer (not overwhelm me as the only staff in this city, and I'm also a full time graduate studentt, so we need Holy Spirit to compel each teammate what God is calling them to. Pray we connect with more Christian students in Sept 24-28 launch of UCSC classes. Thank you!

Complete healing of my sleep apnea, which has not been treated successfully, and for re-testing at the right time. Through prayer, the condition seems to have improved. Praise God. 🙂

• Ask Jesus for faithful church partnerships, promotion, and abundance for the Home Goods Giveaway on August 24th for ISI, KC. This event blesses international students with supplies and furniture for their new homes. • Intercede for God to also raise up many strong youths to help with the Giveaway and provide opportunities for intergenerational discipleship (as well as easing the load on faithful older volunteers). • Pray for continued favor at all the universities that ISI serves at, and for leaders and volunteers to navigate campus connections and the necessary logistics with grace and strength. Pray for revival and a great movement of the Spirit.

Prayer request from Tim Sigman - ISI Front Area Director: Please pray for a Denver Area Director and for new staff on all the Front Range Area campuses. Praise for new staff member, Ingrid Marquis at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. Pray for her full financial support and the start up of a new ISI ministry on this campus.

Please pray for our Welcome Party in Philly on August 30–for all the logistics to come together, for effective publicity/invitations, for many international students to come and to feel loved and welcomed.

Pray for our ‘Household Goods Giveaway’ on August 22 in Philly would bless many international students. Pray for additional donations prior to this event so that we have enough to bless all students who come. Pray that our publicity will reach many international students.
