  • Request from Tim Sigman - ISI Director of Prayer Initiatives: Asking prayer for safe travel. August 21-23 I will travel to Bellingham, WA to meet with the Bill Richardson the Director of Light of the World Prayer Center. For the past 14 years the believers in Bellingham have have united in prayer to create a canopy of 24/7 Prayer over their city and county. This canopy of prayer has been used by God to bring amazing transformation to the whole area. Crime dropped, churches began to grow both in unity and numbers and business leaders began to invest their treasure into kingdom work in wonderful ways. I am wanting to learn all I can from this 24/7 Prayer movement with a deep longing that we can see this kind of 24/7 Prayer movement birthed in Colorado Springs and El Paso county. Pray that God will impart to my heart and mind and soul a powerful anointing that can be brought back to Colorado Springs. August 24-27 I will travel to Pullman, WA to come alongside the ISI team there to see if God will give us a prayer strategy to bring blessing and breakthrough for this team. Lord we you to help our ISI Family nationwide to grow in prayer. Lord teach us to pray and make us a House of Prayer for all nations.
  • • Pray for God’s Spirit within the prayer team of ISI, KC to intercede according to his will and his heart—and invite his presence into all things as we listen and wait for his words. Personalized Scripture Prayer: Father, for this reason, I bow my knees before you, the name giver of every family in heaven and on earth. That according to the riches of your glory, you would grant us ISI volunteers and staff to be strengthened with your Spirit in our inner beings—so that you, Christ, would dwell in our hearts by faith. And because of that, being rooted and grounded in love, we can have strength to comprehend with all your saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth of your love that surpassed understanding. Please, God, fill us with all your fullness to overflowing. Now to you who can do more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to you be glory in the church and yourself throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen. (inspired from Ephesians 3:14-20).
  • Pray for M. from Egypt who seems to have the most interest at least in spiritual conversations. Pray that God move his heart and our conversations away from simply curiosity and debate to serious spiritual hunger. Pray also for his American girlfriend, E., who has converted to Islam that her eyes would be opened to the realities of that religion and that she would also be hungry to know the One True God!
  • Pray for Redemption Church that is starting a study on hospitality & evangelism that they would get involved with us. Thank for Jessie & Danny who are members there and a very active part of our ministry. Pray that their example and our presentation there would call out many new volunteers. Pray also for one of the pastors of a local Lutheran church who is interested in ISI to follow through and good connections made for future ministry.
  • Lord, you know exactly what we all need! You hear our prayers for new staff and many new volunteers - Answer us we pray, o gracious God! You hear our prayers for wisdom and guidance as we plan events and activities to minister to these students and to encourage them to seek to know you, the One True Living God - answer us we pray, Almighty Father. You hear our prayers for students to come to know You! Only You can open their eyes and breath Your Spirit on them so that they can be born again. Glorify Yourself again and again by saving each one that You have called by name! "In the presence of your faithful people, I will always praise you for what you've done. And I will hope in your name for your name is good!" Our trust is in You, Oh Lord, to hear and answer our prayers!
