Prayer Requests and Prayer Points

Here are prayer requests and prayer prompts to help you with your prayer. You may want to bookmark this page so when you do pray, you can reach it easily. Also, please share ISM related prayer requests by clicking “add prayer request.” All prayers are screened by the prayer team so it won’t show immediately but hopefully it will show less than a couple of hours after your submission.   • Please pray for Nada - a Muslim student from Egypt, and Arifa - a Muslim student from Bangladesh. They've been hearing about Jesus and we feel like the HS is softening their hearts. Pray that God will draw them closer to Him and for Salvation upon their lives!
  • Is 40:31 -- "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Pray that the Lord will renew the strength of our IS leadership team and volunteers for the new semester here at NOVA (DC area). Pray that God would guide and provide for us in every step of the way!
  • Praise God that after months of attempts to communicate with a student friend R, and after praying with others on the prayer call/rally last night, I received a reply from R. Please pray for God's healing for her extended illness and God's love and truth to draw her to himself.
  • Please pray for our M28 Bible study that more UCSC intenrationals would join, pray the Holy Spirit stirs their thirst and hunger for God's love and truth, pray we offer it to them without pressure, but clearly, pray the Holy Spirit draws them to my weekly invitations, and any who visit feel welcomed and feel God's spirit in our online time together,
  • Good morning and heartfelt greetings to all participants. May the Joy of our Lord Jesus Christ fill your heart throughout the day. Pray also for my health issues that are becoming more challenging to participate in. However, I am with you all the way to the Throne of His Grace. Praise be to Him.
  • Pray for our Muslim students & faculty at Florida Polytechnic that the Holy Spirit will awaken their hearts & cause them to seek the truth in earnest . Pray for Ron, Caleb & myself that God would give us insight in sharing the Gospel

  • Please pray for the Chinese, Afghan, and Pakistani students who have been given New testaments. Pray that they would hunger and thirst for God's Word and would read and be drawn to Jesus
  • Informed by 2 Corinthians 10:3-5): "Spirit of the living God, as you participated in all creation coming into being so bring about new life in scores of students in the coming year."
  • Galatians 6:9 Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
  • Pray for S from India who actively participates, even in the Bible Studies but is vocal about his unbelief. Pray God's Word would pierce through his blindness. Pray that his eyes would be opened. Soften his heart. May he see that the Gospel is true and may he choose to believe
  • Pray for an Iranian young man who is in the US to get an advanced degree in IT. Pray that the Holy Spirit opens his heart to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ; Pray that the Holy Spirit leads him to find trustworthy Christian friends.
  • Pray for P and J - 2 students who are in an exploratory bible study with mentors - May the Lord reveal to them as they continue these one on one sessions that they can know the truth and the truth will set them free as they accept our Lord as savior
  • Please pray for a Ministry Home walking distance to NYU that will be a warm Light to the Nations. Pray for a missional Christian seller who will sell their home for under market value. Thank you.
  • Pray for the family of a young Kazakh. believer to come to faith--his mother has already opened her heart to Jesus. Pray his father and sister will also open their hearts to the Savior. He is studying in the USA, his family is back in Kazakhstan.
